The Prince William SPCA is funded entirely by private donations. Our funding comes from the community, not any government agency or national organization. The money we raise is returned back to the greater Prince William County region in the form of programs that support companion animals. Donations are used to fund $25,000 in microchips for shelter pets annually, advocacy efforts to build a new animal shelter, $13,000 in humane education each school year and numerous animal programs in our community. We are run entirely by volunteers and our administrative overhead is less than 1%. When you donate to the Prince William SPCA, be assured that your donation is helping the animals in the Greater Prince William County region.
