Dogs rule the pool from 9 AM – 11 AM on Saturday, September 7, 2024 (rain date 9/8).

Join us as we say goodbye to the dog days of summer! Bring your pooch for a paddle at the Inoa Sound Pool in Bristow, Virginia. The entry fee is $10 (cash and checks) per dog. All proceeds benefit the Prince William SPCA.

Know (your dog) before you go: This is a community off-leash event with lots of dogs in every size and shape. The pool has a fence so dogs will run freely during the event. If your dog does not do well in these environments, please do not attend.

Safety first — “Pool Rules” will be strictly enforced.

1. Current county dog license and rabies tag are required. Dogs without licenses and proof of vaccination will not be permitted entry.
2. One strike and you’re out — aggressive dogs will be promptly removed from the premises.
3. Only dogs may swim in the pool. The pool water is untreated and absolutely no humans are allowed in the water.
4. Pet parents must clean up after their dogs. Hoses and skimmers will be provided.
5. Children under 16 years of age may not handle dogs or be around the pool. There will be a designated area for children away from the pool.
6. No food or treats (human or canines) are permitted.
